COURSES
During the following courses, students will be assessed utilising a practical, hands-on approach, which can be held either at the student's workplace or at Broadband Connects training office, giving each student adequate guidance throughout the training process.
Depending on whether the student has prior adequate work-based knowledge, the course or particular subject matter may be eligible for RPL (Registered Prior Learning).

CERTIFICATE III IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY ICT30519
The ICT30519 is a recognised Trade Qualification for operators/technicians who assess installation requirements, plan and perform installations, test installed equipment, and fault-find when issues arise with installed equipment.
RESTRICTED AND OPEN LICENSES
Restricted and Open Cabling Licenses are precursors to obtaining the skills necessary to become a Telecommunications Technician, as this requires a minimum of 360 hours of physical and technical experience to qualify.
ACMA OPEN LICENSE ENDORSEMENTS
Since June 30th 2014 the ACMA have required Telecommunications Technicians to be the holder of endorsements in their particular field of endeavour. E.g. Structured Cabling, Coaxial, Fibre, etc.
